OVERVIEW I have a passion for English and writing with a special emphasis on composition, sentence structure, tenses, grammar and more. I want to teach the young student who is struggling and needs to learn the foundations of writing. PRACTICE -Technical writer for medical device communications and training documents, as well as software user instructions. -Expert at formatting MS Word documents and interpreting multiple writing styles (creative, literary, technical, blogging/journalistic) and style guides -Have acted as a mentor for the Taunton Areas Schools to Career (TASC) and as an annual spelling bee volunteer who assisted young teens in their quests to win scholarships -Writes a monthly creative blog of social essays -Have tutored friends and family members on how to write papers for school and college. They were taught the foundational skills needed for good study habits, writing and communications that will serve them well in school, college and in their future careers. OTHER I have also studied art, and am a practicing artist. So, I'm available to instruct on basic drawing skills. Finally, I am knowledgeable about European and US history as it is tied to the creative impetus behind, and study of, European and English literature. LOCATION Will travel on the Cape and off-Cape to Wareham and Plymouth.
